Fresh off a first College World Series in five years in 2017, big things are expected of Florida State in 2018. On Friday, The Daily Nole lead writer Clint Eiland caught up with head baseball coach Mike Martin.

Martin is just 32 wins shy of becoming the winngest coach in college baseball history. The Seminoles have won at least 40 games in 40 straight seasons.

Last season, FSU won the ACC Tournament for a second time in three years before reaching Omaha, where it fell twice to eventual national runner-up LSU. The Seminoles will start No. 3 in the Baseball America Poll.
